About Us
The Rising Tide Brasserie nestles in the secluded village of Glounthane beside the tidal estuary of the River Lee, just 10 minutes east of Cork City on the old Cork/Waterford road. The views from this amazing Brasserie are simply breathtaking.
Allow yourself to enjoy a drink or something to eat and listen to the water as it gently breaks against the quay wall. Try capturing a picture of golden reflection at sunset – what a beautiful and peaceful haven!! The Rising Tide “experience” has been created by the work and dedication of its owners Sandra, Phil and Ted Murphy.
The restaurant is a new side of the business that had previously been a public house and it has grown from strength to strength.
Appropriate for its name and location, the general décor of the premises has a nautical theme. Local history, together with hand painted pictures, decorate the walls. Food at The Rising Tide Brasserie is modern Irish, incorporating traditional and new wave fusion fare.
All food is sourced locally and the restaurant has received the Feile Bia commendation. Both our service and kitchen team are dedicated to creating a unique dining experience for every guest, providing exquisite food, fine wine and a friendly and relaxing atmosphere.
