About Us

A country pub which is famous for its bar food, good music, card games, pool competitiions and table quizzes. It is also an ideal place to relax after a days fishing at the nearby River Moy.

The pub is situated in the heart of Co. Mayo in the historic village of Straide. Straide is home to the famous Michael Davitt who was involved in the land war for the Irish people. 

Local Attractions

There are many famous attractions located close by to the The Copper Beech. Directly beside the pub is the Michael Davitt museum. Just a few miles down the road you can visit the famous Foxford Woolen Mills. The River Moy flows nearby where you can enjoy a good days fishing and Turlogh House a place where you can step back in time.
