About Us

The Horse and Hound Inn is a 3* family run Hotel in picturesque Ballinaboola, a small village on the N25 near Rosslare. An ideal stopping-off point for the car ferry. Experience the warm, friendly service delivered by the Murphys and their professional staff. 

Our cocktail lounge is an ideal place to relax, enjoy a drink, or to experience fine food and friendly service. Enjoy a meal in our renowned restaurant, choose from the finest selection of fresh Irish produce, specialising in fish and beef dishes.

Accomodation is provided in 27 tastefully decorated guest rooms. Each quest room combines of luxury and comfort. Our 27 rooms are all en-suite with multi-channel tv, internet access, tea/coffee making facilities, hair dryer and direct dial telephone.

Our function room is ideal for weddings, conferences and other functions. Our pinnacle room is the perfect meeting room for small conferences of for meetings.

Outside we have extensive parking facilities suitable for coach parties.

Dancing in the O'Callaghan suite every Wednesday and Sunday night. All functions catered for.

We have many local attractions to offer in our area, all within a couple of miles of each other. Such as Hook Lighthouse, Dunbrody Abbey, Wexford Heritage Centre, Secret Valley Farm for all the kids, JFK Park for both adults and children, Saltee Islands, Duncannon Fort, Wexford Opera House, many golf courses such as Scarke, Wexford, and last but not least miles of sandy beaches.
