About Us

Modern bar and restaurant serving high quality coffee, offering a reasonably priced wine list. All food sourced locally. If you are looking for quality homemade food with great service, then Kielys Bar and Restaurant in Tipperary is the place to go. Meals served daily from Monday to Saturday 10.00 a.m until 9.00 p.m.

Family run business and has been for the last 97 years. Nightclub on the site of Kielys Grocery and Bakery which closed in the eighties.Both of us have a strong interest in sports such as rugby,golf,soccer,hockey and gaa.

Three top class golf courses - Tipperary Golf Club is one mile away,Ballykisteen is two miles and Dundrum is eight miles. All well worth a visit.

Excellent modern sports complex which caters for every sport - tennis, squash, indoor soccer and swimming to name a few.

Aherlow and Galtee mountains which have some of the best views in Ireland and would suit walkers and cyclists alike.

Tipperary Town is well served by family owned B&Bs and Ballykisteen Hotel and Aherlow House  Hotel.
