The Barony Restaurant

The relaxed and stylish ambience of the Barony restaurant reflects the sophisticated feel of the Talbot with a fresh, unpretentious approach to top quality dining. If you're looking for somewhere that's stylish, a little out of the ordinary and a little bit special, with an attention to detail and a dedication to fresh local produce, you need venture no further.

One side of the restaurant opens out onto a wonderful veranda for al fresco breakfast, lunch or early dinners when the weather is warm. If it’s not, the large fireplace creates a warm and cosy environment, well-suited to hosting private parties and romantic candle-lit dinners for two.

Luxury chic, quirky style, each of these twenty one guest rooms has its own special charm...including an iPod dock, complimentary wireless connection and internet cables, tea making facilities, and oh joy, an espresso machine as well as a mini bar stocked with tempting treats, a laptop friendly safe, voicemail telephone system, individually controlled air conditioning,  bath robes, slippers and spa toiletries.

Belmullet is the capital of the Gaeltacht (Irish-speaking) region of Erris, an area that offers unspoilt beauty and glorious beaches and is the ideal place for that get away from it all holiday.  Car hire is available at Ireland West Knock International Airport and can be a really time effective option.  The wonderful benefit to travelling by car around Belmullet is getting off the beaten track and discovering a deserted beach, a remote picnic area, un-crowded surfing beach, or even just enjoying the winding country roads, which cut through spectacular scenery and are frequently dotted with sheep - so take care!!  If you're feeling energetic enough get on your bike! If you want to get away from it all, you can take to the hills or stop off at an un-crowded Blue Flag beach - a holiday all at your own pace, so what are you waiting for?
