About Us
We are associated with the film "Angela's Ashes" the book written by Frank McCourt. His late father is supposed to have drank stout in South's. We are a family run pub, relaxing to have a drink in without music. Good decor and good Bar Food, traditional dishes served from 12.00 noon to 3.00p.m.
We can cater for small parties after 6.00pm. say, 60 people. We do not have a smoking area inside the pub. We have a smoking area outside the front of pub, with heaters on the wall. Great place to watch Rugby Matches i.e. Heineken Cup etc. Great atmosphere and craic. We serve finger food during the intervals for all the major matches.
We see our pub as a place to have a nice friendly drink without too much noise. A place to get to know your friends.
