About Us

The Dinn Rí Bar

It is a place where the regular customer and the stranger alike are made to feel at home, to relax knowing that their needs are met and their desires satisfied. A good pint, a fancy cocktail, or a classic gin and tonic, in a well-kept, clean and comfortable space to enjoy your drink, all needs good planning, competent management and experienced staff.

Food is available from 12 noon until 9.30pm daily with your choice of Carvery for lunch or traditional bar food in the afternoon and evenings.

For sporting fanatics there are 3 large screens and 3 plasmas to enjoy all sporting occasions.

The Dinn Rí has it all. And if that's not enough, come in and enjoy our live music every Saturday night from 10pm. You might feel like it comes easy, but it is down to the experience and hard work of good management and staff.

 Brooks Café Bar

In Brooks Café Bar, from eight in the morning until ten at night, you can find the very best of local produce, lovingly prepared by experienced and innovative staff, to satisfy and delight the most discerning palate. Brooks changes its personality to suit yours, so whether it's a traditional Irish breakfast or something continental, coffee and pastries during the day, leisurely brunch on a Sunday, or a crispy duck or sirloin steak for dinner, Brooks will fit the bill. For reservations phone 059 9133111. On Saturday nights the chameleon café transforms in to Brooks Club 23 and offers all patrons the chance to dance to there favourite music of the 60's,70's and 80's.

 Cedar Square Terrace Bar

The Cedar Square Terrace Bar and Barbeque Area transports the visitor to a fresh, tranquil and attractive setting, with hanging baskets, earthenware urns, brickwork and cream-painted booths around the glass walls.

Over 200 people can be seated in a heated, airy space with an upper level to accommodate musicians during live gigs. The menu is simple, but delicious, with burgers at only €6.50, chicken fillets at €6.95 and the best of hotdogs for less than €4 with diners adding their own trimmings from the self-service area beside the barbeque.

 The Foundry

Clubbers from all over the Ireland travel to dance at The Foundry. By far the most fashionable venue in the region, three years ago the Dinn Rí management set about making The Foundry the club with the most cutting-edge style and technology in Ireland.

The sound system and the top class DJs, to blast out the best in music and rhythm for the most discerning audience to enjoy. The quirky interior design, mixing and matching styles and eras, is enhanced by the clever, innovative lighting system, which changes the mood and setting depending on the event.

The Tower

The Tower is a fantastic multi-purpose space and a favourite venue for live artists who play there every weekend. The place rocks and with standing room for 650, you can imagine the atmosphere when the gig gets going. The stage is 6 x 3 metres so live artists can really give it wellie and the band has room to breathe too. The lighting system in The Tower is second-to-none in Ireland. It can create the mood, whether pink and flashing for a party or mellow yellow for a more intimate gig. That is not all, the Tower is one of Carlow's most fashionable party venues catering for engagement parties, corporate functions and 21st alike with a multiple of options available to customers to customise their party.
