About Us
In 1920, during the War of Independence, this building was bruned down by the Black & Tans. It was restored and has traded successfully for over 100 years.
The Barry family have a strong Irish Music background and musicians are always welcome. Live music is a regular feature here.
There is seafood, wines and pub grub available 7 days a week plus 12 bedrooms for the overnight guest.
Located next door to Paddy Power and across from the post office, The Central is in the hub of activity.
Black & White Newcomer Pub of the Year 1991, it retains an easy to enter atmosphere at all times.
