"The Best Country Pub in Ireland"

The Anvil Bar is located in Boolteens Village, a few kilometers from Castlemaine on the R561 as you travel toward Dingle Town. The O'Connors are really friendly, and their B&B is FABULOUS. The rooms are modern, spacious and quiet. You would never suspect there is a lively pub below. Their food is delicious and often you'll find local musicians playing on the weekend, and even during the week, at times. It is one of the best places you'll visit in Ireland. If you are touring Kerry and the Dingle Peninsula, it is an ideal location to base yourself for several days as it is centrally located to all the main attractions, yet not in the middle of all the tourist hustle and bustle... I love it!
