About Us

Logue’s of Cranford is an established family run bar and entertainment venue set in a picturesque country area overlooking the famous Mulroy Bay. It is a well known country music venue featuring both local and big band acts. The function room caters for parties, weddings and special occasions. The Wee Bar has an inviting warm atmosphere where you can relax over a drink or enjoy quality bar food during the summer season. Smokers are facilitated with a comfortable heated patio with tables and chairs. From June to August BBQs are held on a Friday night with Ballad sessions and Irish Music afterwards. Logue’s has an added attraction of an original Blacksmith’s Forge which was built in 1918 and still retains authentic tools and memorabilia. There is no admission to view the Old Forge which is open to the public during the summer season. The Function Room caters for parties of all sizes, with the capacity to fully seat 160 people. It has a restaurant licence and can cater for bus tours and social functions. There is a weekly old time country dance on Sunday nights and monthly Ceiles on Friday nights. There is car parking facilities for at least 50 vehicles. The Wee Bar is cosy and friendly and hosts Ballad Sessions, Live music, Karaoke and themed nights. The smoking area can seat 25 people in comfort and is heated. It is adjacent to the Old Forge which dates back to 1918 and remains in its original structure. The public is free to view and enjoy this historic landmark during the summer months. Bar food is served from June to August, with the added attraction of regular BBQs.

Local Attractions

Cranford is located along the beautiful Mulroy Bay across from Kerrykeel. It is the gateway to the spectacular Atlantic Drive and has easy access to the Fanad Drive due to the newly constructed Mulroy Bridge. Downings is a short drive from Cranford and is host to many of the most renowned and photographed beaches in Europe, such as Tramore and Melmore, which can be admired from the stunning Rosapenna Golf course. There is pony trekking locally and two lay bys with boating harbours and slipways suitable for canoeing and baoting activities. Our nearest major shopping area is 20 mins away in Letterkenny with top names such as Penneys, Marks & Spencer, Dunnes, River Island, Top Shop and many more.

"Craic was mighty"

Remember many great nights in Logue's of Cranford. Staff were so accommodating and friendly. food was wonderful. had a few BBQ's there too. Hope to have many more great nights there in the future. shout out to Paddy, Nicola, Pauric and Brendan.

I remember going here every time we went to Ireland as a child, my grandparents were great friends of the owners and we always has a fantastic time! Such a friendly atmosphere and friendly people. I miss it.

"Cranford rocks!"

I have had more great nights (and mornings) than I care to remember at Logue's of Cranford. Favourite place in the world! Wonderful and warm people, great atmosphere!
